LAS VEGAS, NV (December 1, 2025) - Sunrise Children’s Hospital is proud to announce the addition of Lenhanh P. Tran, MD, who joins the hospital as the only fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologist (ENT) in the state of Nevada. Her arrival marks a major milestone for pediatric specialty care in the region, bringing critical medical service to more than 3.5 million residents statewide.
Dr. Tran specializes in comprehensive ear, nose and throat care for infants, children and adolescents—from routine conditions to the most complex airway, hearing, sinus and congenital disorders. Before her arrival, families across Nevada often had to travel out of state to access this level of expertise.
“We’re so excited that Dr. Tran is joining us here in Las Vegas at Sunrise Children’s Hospital,” said Todd Sklamberg, CEO of Sunrise and Sunrise Children’s Hospital. “Dr. Tran is going to be the state’s only pediatric ENT. It might be hard to believe that in Nevada, a state of 3.5 million folks, we do not have a pediatric ENT anywhere in the state. And we are so thrilled that Dr. Tran will be joining us.”
New Outpatient Clinic: Sunrise Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists
As part of Sunrise Health System’s commitment to expanding access to specialty care, Dr. Tran will also serve as the lead pediatric ENT specialist at Sunrise Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists, a new outpatient clinic for all ages launching under the Sunrise Health System.
The clinic is designed to improve continuity of care and provide families with convenient, centralized access to advanced pediatric ENT services. Sunrise Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists will offer diagnostic evaluations, ongoing management and procedural care in a child-friendly, family-focused outpatient setting—strengthening the bridge between the hospital and community-based care.
Dr. Tran completed her medical degree at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, D.C., followed by residency in Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. She then pursued advanced fellowship training in pediatric otolaryngology at the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. She is board certified and committed to delivering highly specialized, family-centered care.
“I’m excited to serve the pediatric community of Southern Nevada,” said Dr. Tran. “After 25 years caring for families in Hawaii, I’m thrilled to bring complex pediatric ENT services this region needs. I have extensive experience in complex sinus, neck and ear surgery, and I’ve helped establish cochlear implant programs three times, something I look forward to developing here. As Nevada continues to grow, my goal is to build a strong pediatric ENT foundation and help expand access to care for children and families.”
Dr. Tran’s clinical expertise includes:
- Airway disorders and breathing problems
- Complex ear and hearing conditions
- Pediatric sinus and nasal disease
- Tonsil and adenoid disorder
- Congenital anomalies of the head and neck
